The Buffalo Oracle Card

How can we find PEACE when we’re surrounded by violence?

Last month, I spoke with an American Buffalo in the Animal Wisdom Circle. The Buffalo shared his spiritual gift, lesson and message to people with me, which I shared on my blog 2 weeks ago. (You can find the Buffalo’s answers here.)

One of the most important things the buffalo shared with me are his practical steps for remaining peaceful even in the face of violence. This week, I am sharing his guidance on this important topic in my new video. (!!)

Spiritual Guidance from an American Buffalo

For years, I have felt like my mission in life is to be a messenger for animals. I feel like it’s my responsibility to share their words with the world and spread that word as far and wide as I possibly can. The Animal Wisdom Circle is one way I do that. My Animal of the Month blog is another way. And now I’m super excited to add a third way to share animals’ messages: The Animal Wisdom Circle Oracle Card Deck! Woo Hoo!!! I’ve been working with different artists over the last 6 months to find just the right look and design for the cards and even though the images aren’t final, I’m excited to share the animals’ messages asap. I’ll add in the cards as they are created and share my journey and the process with you all along the way.

This video is the first in a series of videos that share the wisdom of the animals that will be included in my new Animal Wisdom Circle Oracle Card Deck.

It All Started with a Drawing

Each January, I get inspired with a vision for the year. This year, the image I got was me sprinkling my gifts all over the globe, sharing what I love with the world one little gold nugget at a time, especially messages from animals. I feel best when I am embodying my inspiration and expressing my love. That’s why I’m really, really excited about sharing my process as I create the Animal Wisdom Circle Oracle Card Deck.

BTW, here’s the2016 vision drawing drawing that inspired me:

Now It’s Your Turn

How can you apply Buffalo’s wisdom to your life? How do you stay peaceful when things around you aren’t peaceful? Or how do you regain your peace after losing it?

I’d love to hear from you! Please share your techniques in the comments.

    Hi Cara,
Thank you for the wisdom of the buffalo. You mentioned the buffalo as a power animal for me when you did my reading at the end of February and it really resonates with me. I have a lot of history with Buffalo: I stayed with a friend whose father was building a damn on the Durham Buffalo Ranch in Gillette, Wyoming in about 6th grade; I went to NYC when I was a senior in high school to visit my fiance and bought a coat in Greenwich Village that looked like a Buffalo – I called it my Buffalo coat; I ran the Buffalo (WY) Triathlon in Buffalo, WY and won my age group and placed 3rd overall in 1994; and then I did my PhD at University @ Buffalo in Buffalo, NY, The buffalo is the state animal of my home state of Wyoming and I have always been in awe of this gentle giant. I love the idea of peacefulness in the midst of chaos and violence and trending gently on the plant. What a fantastic reading. I hope you are doing well. Thanks for the great reading in February. It was really helpful to me as I passed that one year anniversary of the passing of my husband.
    Be well,
    LaDona

What a beautiful message, thank you for sharing it with us Cara.

I am blessed to have great mindset and energy tools in my pocket that help me be more peaceful and regain a sense of peace more easily when there is chaos around.
Ultimately it’s all about choice and intention for me. I get to choose if I react to outside circumstances or whether I respond peacefully and calmly.
