The Power of YOU
This month, I spoke with a Salamander in the Animal Wisdom Circle. Salamanders are amphibians that have semi-permeable skin – which makes them reliant on living in moist places or close to water. Salamanders are opportunistic predators. They are generally not restricted to specific foods, but feed on almost any organism of a reasonable size. They are most closely related to frogs and toads and are found north of the equator.
Spiritual Guidance from a SALAMANDER
For years, I have felt like my mission in life is to be a messenger for animals. I feel like it’s my responsibility to share their words with the world and spread that word as far and wide as I possibly can. The Animal Wisdom Circle is the structure that allows the conversation to happen and I like to share the wisdom from the animals here, on my blog, too.
What is your Spiritual Gift?
Making the world a better place by being myself.
What is your Spiritual Lesson or challenge?
I can’t do it all alone. I need to be in partnership with others.
Do you have a message for people?
When the unknown becomes known, you expand your comfort zone. Be willing to go to foreign places, including inside yourself, to become more fully yourself.
The members of the Animal Wisdom Circle who were on the call live with me asked more questions., including what was his favorite thing about being a salamander, what tool do you use to overcome your spiritual challenge and more. Please join us in the Animal Wisdom Circle each month to ask your own questions and hear the wisdom from the animal guest live.
By the time we ended the call, we were all feeling so INSPIRED and UPLIFTED!
The wisdom from the Salamander reminds us that each of us is unique and special and our greatest gift we can give the world is be exactly who we are. We make the world a better place by being ourselves and we can’t do it alone, either! The more we are willing to look inside ourselves and venture into uncharted territory, the more comfortable we get with the truth of who we are and the more fully we can express ourselves an dour truths. YOWZA! Great reminders!
Thank you, Salamander!
Now it’s your turn:
What does the Salamaner’s message mean to you? How can you apply his wisdom to your life? Please share your insights in the comments below.

February 21, 2018What an intriguing and mystical message for people! It gives such a clear sense of how the willingness to go through the discomfort of exploring the unknown ends up giving us more freedom and comfort. Thanks Cara and Salamander!
